Position Summary: Overall purpose of this job is to accurately process, advise, counsel and process Federal, State and Institutional student financial aid following established guidelines and requirements. Primary function will be overseeing the CPoS functions and Gainful Employment processing and compliance. To include reconciliation, training staff and creating strategies for effective and efficient administration of program.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
40% Monitor and coordinate CPoS processes
20% Counsel, inform and process student situations in person and by phone, offering excellent customer service
10% Coordinate the annual Gainful Employment (GE) reporting and assist other offices with training and understanding of GE
10% Oversee Financial Aid Ambassadors, training procedures and updates
10% Assist with various federal and State programs as needed within the office (i.e., auditing, verification, reports, etc.)
5% Participate with NSO presentations and offsite events
5% Other duties as assigned by Director/Supervisor to support PSCC Financial aid office and PSCC
A. Bachelor’s Degree
B. 2 years’ of full-time higher education work experience within financial aid or business/finance administration
C. Federal Student Financial Aid training/experience
D. Basic computer knowledge
E. Compliance experience
(Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience)
Special Skills/Application of Knowledge: Understanding the importance of accuracy and communication with staff, students & parents. Participate in a team environment and maintain a level of responsibility, competency and trust with others. Ability to multitask effectively, computer competency and the ability learn quickly. A 2nd language is not necessary.
Location of Position: Hardin Valley Campus
Pay Rate: $39,240 - $48,390.00/per year. Pay will be determined based on related work experience above required. To be considered in determining pay, all related work experience must be listed on the application.
