Provides exceptional service to members, processes members' requested financial transactions with emphasis in all aspects of the mortgage application process including processing, loan decisions, closing, post-closing, and servicing. Identifies and suggests financial services that would improve our members' lives. Maintains proper documentation and records for mortgage files, and reviews the completeness and accuracy of the application package. Provides prompt, professional and courteous support and assistance to internal departments, retail branches and members.
Primary responsibility to assist in developing the credit union's residential mortgage loan portfolio by cultivating new and existing relationships. This will be executed by partnering with local area real estate brokers and centers of influence (COI's) to establish lending opportunity referral scenarios.
Maintains a complete understanding of UTFCU's residential mortgage products to ensure that members are placed in the product that is right for their financial situation.
Performs duties related to the processing of consumer, home equity, first mortgage, and business loan documents and loan files, including pulling credit bureau reports, interviewing loan applicants, gathering the required information for a credit application, explaining loan options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements. Maintains constant review of pending, approved, and rejected loan files to ensure timely loan processing.
Initiates credit investigations and analyzes credit information to determine appropriate qualifications and credit limits for consumer loans. Demonstrates the ability to read, analyze, and interpret credit reports. Performs underwriting process and makes loan decisions in accordance with lending authority. Exhibits the ability to tactfully discuss loan decisions with the member and respond satisfactorily to any member's question.
Prepares accurate and complete consumer, home equity, and first mortgage loan closing documents. Conducts closings with the ability to answer member questions. Completes the loan files promptly, including lien perfection. Performs accurate computer input at loan closing.
Cross-sells appropriate products and services to benefit the member and maintains sales goals set forth by the credit union.
Performs as Relationship Manager to assigned accounts, serving as first point of contact with members. Includes duties such as onboarding, maintaining member relationships, and marketing outreach efforts.
Actively participates in branch and all-staff meetings in order to maintain awareness of organizational issues and promotional campaigns; stays current on policies, procedures, and compliance.
Attends training classes to continuously increase job knowledge and overall job performance in order to provide an increased level of service to our members. Takes initiative for personal career development and seeks opportunities to learn new skills.

Within established levels of authority, processes members' financial transactions, resolves problems, and answers questions regarding all of UT Federal Credit Union's products and services. Conducts the signature guarantee procedure as requested by members.
Conducts new account functions, including share, share draft, IRAs and certificates; explains various account and ownership options, providing the necessary counseling to meet members' needs, and obtains the required information and documentation. Prepares all documents and paperwork; assists members with completing forms.
