Document user requests and solutions, define change specifications, develop and support test cases, and work on project teams. Participate in planning sessions to implement upgrades or additional features to various enterprise systems. Provide support and advice for the successful utilization of the university intranet/portal and Banner environment. Monitor operations of the university intranet/portal. Serve as liaison between functional users and vendors to resolve technical issues and to test changes. Assist in assessing client needs utilizing a structured process (gathering, analyzing, documenting and managing change) to assist in identifying priorities. Develop, write, communicate and document requirements for the implementation of changes. Analyze metrics to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide timely status reports for projects to functional users and management. Follow audit guidelines in system modifications. Maintain confidentiality of data. Identify and define viable technology solutions to meet business requirements. Analyze problems and issues presented by end users, determine the cause, and develop or propose a resolution. Responsible for scope, analysis, design, development, documentation, maintenance, implementation of upgrades, and integration with other applications/systems. Deliver services, such as, installation, needs analysis, business process analysis, configuration, knowledge sharing, training, troubleshooting, testing, vendor engagement, and end user support. Recommend improvements or new functions. Develop, design, and write programs, applications, reports, and procedures usually with SQL for various offices on campus.
